It’s a glorious holiday weekend here which means:
I probably will not be around very much though. Jacob is having a friend over tonight which means chaos ;-) I also have fucking jury duty on Tuesday which I’m already dreading so I definitely won’t be around that day either.
I’ll check in now and then though.

Sometimes I just lack the energy to socialize with people. I like to be on my own, in my own space. Socializing can get very exhausting. It’s like donating blood. I just need some time to recharge myself. Give me time, and give me space.
As an introvert, you can be your own best friend or your own worst enemy. The good news is, we generally like our own company, a quality that extroverts often envy. We find comfort in solitude and know how to soothe ourselves. Even our willingness to look at ourselves critically is often helpful.
